Kaffe Fusion Blanket Completed!...

Sewing Daisies: Kaffe Fusion Blanket

My Kaffe 'Fusion Blanket' is finished!

Remember?

It's the 'crowing' project I began just after Christmas.

No?

Okay,

it's my very own creation

using Kaffe Fassett charms

and a mix of crochet & sewing

"Crowing"

This lovely little blanket

is made up of 48 charms sewn together

back to back

with blanket stitch run around the edges at 1cm intervals.

Simple.

 The crochet

proved to be a little trickier though,

On account of me making it up as I went along.

Not the best idea ever.

But

I persevered and now have a

spiffy lap blanket

that's a perfect fit for a cot or pram.

 That's right,

I am bringing 'spiffy' back into play!
